Renovation Specialist

In addition to maintaining the homes of existing residents, we are also focused on renovating and upgrading our communities as individual apartments are vacated.  Successful renovation specialists begin with all levels of experience, and come from a variety of industries.  More experienced renovation specialists will be able to catch on and get to work quickly, while less experienced specialists will enjoy a nurturing environment and on-the-job training.

Responsibilities include:

• Removing all finishes from vacated apartments, including appliances, cabinets, flooring, etc.

• Following established plan for upgrading units, performing skills drawing on a number of trades

• Diagnosing and addressing unique concerns in specific units

• Installing new finishes, and preparing apartments for move-in

Ideal candidates:

• Are self-motivated and hard working

• Have flexibility and are able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Have basic tools and transportation.

• Have general knowledge of appliance repair, light carpentry, plumbing and electrical knowledge

• Previous property maintenance training and experience is a plus
